Soror Spotlight: Brenda Watson

Soror Brenda Watson was initiated February 3, 1987. She is currently an active member of the Membership Committee, Physical & Mental Health and truly has a passion to help foster sisterhood. She reaches out to the community through health fairs and civic events such as Relay for Life, AIDS, sickle cell walks and collecting blood for the American Red Cross. Soror Watson truly believes that if we do the little things to help that the big things are easier to do and we can save the world one person at a time.

Although she is currently single, Soror Watson enjoys a wonderful relationship with her boyfriend, who she deems a terrific man! During her free time and summer months, she also enjoys spending time with her great family and friends. She attends several churches including Shaw Temple, Zion Baptist and Turner Chapel A.M.E. In her spare time Soror Watson loves to eat American and Soul food as well as cook her own favorite dish, Spaghetti. She also loves CNN, Robin Cook books and Sci-Fi television shows such as Lost, Fringe and the Eleventh Hour. Soror Watson lives her life by her mother’s favorite quote: “Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me”.
